Kawasaki has launched its new Vulcan S cruiser bike in India. It is a powerful 650 cc bike. Vulcan S is eternally connected to Kawasaki Ninja 650. The frame, engine and other motorcycle parts are exact same as that in Ninja 650 which is currently assembled in Kawasaki’s Pune-based factory.
Heart of Vulcan S
Vulcan S is powered by a 650 cc parallel twin engine. It produces a peak power of 60.2 Bhp @ 7,500 rpm and a max torque of 62.78 Nm @6,600 rpm.
This powerful engine comes with a 6 speed manual gearbox alongside fuel injection and liquid cooling. Disc brakes are present on both front and rear tyres. The ABS technology is also present which provides additional safety to the riders.
The bike is equipped with a 14 litre fuel tank.
Aesthetic details of Vulcan S
Apart from impressive cruiser styling, Vulcan S includes adjustable foot rest, handle and seat. These features set the bike apart from rest of the competition in the same segment. The rear suspension, the low headlight, shiny color options etc. are few of the beauty marks for this bike.
Pricing and Availability
Kawasaki Vulcan S is priced at 5.44 lakhs, ex-showroom Delhi.
The company will launch Vulcan S officially at the 2018 Indian Auto Expo. Bookings are open for this bike now. Kawasaki will start deliveries in early 2018.
This bike is a promising cruiser and will compete with the likes of Harley Davidson Street 750 and soon to be launched Royal Enfield 650 twins.
