The Bajaj Discover 110 is ready to be reintroduced in India later this week. Bajaj Discover 110 was discontinued few years ago. The motorbike manufacturer Bajaj has been trying to make a comeback in entry level motorcycle segment with this model. Bajaj already has popular motor bikes in this segment including CT100B, Platina 100, Discover 125 and Bajaj V. The addition of Discover 110 to the line-up will be great for Indian consumers.
The Bajaj Discover has been known to be one of the best budget bikes offering powerful ride and sophisticated design. The new 110 cc variant borrows the design from elder 125 cc sibling. The bike gets an analog-digital instrument panel, electric ignition start and handlebar end weights.
The new Bajaj Discover 110 will be powered by a new 110 cc single-cylinder, air-cooled engine. There is no clarification about the other technical specifications. The DTS-I engine is expected to produce 9.5 Bhp power and 9.5 Nm of max torque. A 4-speed transmission gear box will accompany the new engine. Telescopic shock absorbers are present in the front and the rear gets a dual shock absorber setup. Both front and rear wheel are equipped with drum brakes.
The new Discover 110 will compete against the likes of budget offerings likeTVS Victor, Hero Passion and Honda Dream series bikes.
The Discover 110 will go on sale from January 10, 2018 in the country. In addition, Bajaj Auto will also introduce its 2018 model range at the event. Discover 110 will be priced below 50,000 Rs as anticipated.
